Russkaya Troyka: about the company

Closed joint-stock company Russkaya Troyka is a dynamic private limited company operating in the intermodal containerization segment. The company was founded in November 2004.

Shareholders: Russian Railways (25%+1 share); NPF Blagosostoyaniye (25%-1 share); Far-Eastern Shipping Company OJSC, which is a structural unit of FESCO Transport Group (50%). The company’s authorized capital totals RUR 956 mln.

The company owns a fleet of container platforms. Its 80-foot flatcars are suited tor carryi two 40-foot containers or four 20-foot containers at a time.

Due to the advantages of Russian infrastructure and its shareholders’ experience and potentialities, Russkaya Troyka can deliver containerized freight all the way from seaports of the Pacific Rim countries across Russia in the shortest possible time.

It takes 19 days at most to bring freight to the Russian heartland from overseas, for example, only 18 days from South Korean seaports of Ulsan and Pusan to Taganrog, 17 days from Japanese seaports to Moscow, and 19 days to St. Petersburg.

The company actively operates within Russia, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Baltic states, and thanks to cooperation with leading European railroad operators it is capable of providing cargo carriage practically to any point in Europe.

The company's business is focused on container train operation. Over 50% of the company’s volume of shipments is accounted for this type of shipment. Interterminal services with a well-defined railway schedule are intensively implemented.
